3 Words to inspire or motivate

While everybody goes through times of questioning our reason for being, we also look for reasons to thrive, to reach forward and to take hold of our goals and dreams. In those times when life seems out of control, when something bad happens, when we are thrown for a loop we search for those few words which we just know are given for us – for right now. Those few words we can hang onto to get us through… a story we can tell ourselves to somehow make sense of the pain.

There was a particularly low time in my life when my dad spoke 4 simple words to me… those words at that time were all I needed to look for the best in a bad situation and to change my attitude. He simply said: “Keep your pecker up”;

This grounding statement inspired me to look for and find the gold, even at one of the lowest times of my life experience.
